TOKYO MARUI : Leopard 2a5 - color NATO KFOR CAMO
Radio Control BB shooting Battle Tank:
Tokyo Marui in Japan, well known for their extensive range of airsoft guns, produces a series of
high quality, ready to run, 1/24 scale radio controlled tanks that can be run straight out of the
box. It comes ready-built and fully painted. No construction is needed apart from small detailing
parts which adds to the realism of the model. All necessary equipment including a dedicated
transmitter is included. The amazing thing about these tanks is that they shoot airsoft-type
6mm plastic BB pellets. And they pack quite a punch too! Great fun whether you are running one
for target practice or fighting it out with friends. All our Marui tanks come with BB pellets.
But oh no, the coup de grace, the absolutely fantastically wonderful thing about this tank, is that
it fires pellets! Oh yes, with a maximum range of 35 metres, and a capacity of 40 pellets, it
powers out plastic BB's at a rate of 1p/s it even has a powerful red warning light next to the
barrel that illuminates just before it fires.
 
On top of all this, it can operate on three different channels, so up to three tanks can battle it
out at once. It also has a programme mode, simply tap in the route you want the tank to take, where
and when you want it to fire, and press go, it will then trundle off and obey your battle orders.
It's powered by 8xAA and with a 9V battery powering the remote (not included), and as we've
said already, it's darn fast.
This mighty beast does come with a few warnings however. You can kiss goodbye to office decorum for
a start, don't fire it at children and pets (obviously), and it can seriously interrupt your
business, we haven't seen our MD since the first tanks arrived.
